Don't be late. Being punctual can score you big. Making a girl wait for a date will not only turn her off --- you're making a totally bad impression.
Look and smell good. Hygiene will always rank high if you want to impress the girls. So get a shower, wear clean clothes, brush your teeth and smell nice. She will be very impressed, believe me.
Don't drink too much.If you're planning to get drunk, better do it after the date or someplace else. The last thing your date would like to do is baby-sit you. So be a little responsible.
Strike a conversation. Make use of good conversation starters and make sure you engage your date in an animated conversation. Don't be bore or you wouldn't be able to score that second date at all.
Be cool and comfortable. Confidence will take you a long way so be calm and in control. Getting a little nervous is normal but be cool and keep the pace. When you're comfortable, your date will feel the same as well.
Make your date feel at ease. Don't barrage her with a lot of questions and make her feel it's a job interview of some sort. This is date. You're supposed to be having fun and getting to know each other more.
Don't be rude. Sure, you hate her dress but that last you want to do is point it out. That would definitely offend the hell out of her. Keep it to yourself and try to get through the night as smooth as possible.
Foot the bill. Technically, it is a guy's responsibility to pay for the bill on the first date. Of course, you can go Dutch or if she insists on paying, let her. It's a free world.
Don't get too personal. If this is your first date, try to focus on less stressful topics or light topics such as hobbies and interests, book, movies and music. Nothing too personal just yet.
Flirt and have a great time.If you think you're definitely attracted and smitten with your date, don't be scared to send flirting signals. Learn to read her body language as well and have a blast all night!
